"Just wanted to update (you and maybe their foster parent(/s)), that Gia (Zest) and Olivia (Push-Up) are living their best lives together! My only complaint is that they're my biggest enablers to not folding my laundry in a timely manner -- but can you blame me?? They're too cute! My older cats that we adopted from the Humane Society 4 years ago have taken to them well! They spend their days playing with & being snuggled by my 4 teenagers. :)

"Grateful to you all and the work you do that helped us unite with our furry family members.

Growing up, my family adopted a Humane Society cat (who lived 20 years!) that had a traumatic kitten-hood (we got her when she was about 6 months old). We adapted to the life she needed to be comfortable & I loved her so much! But there is such a difference in foster kitties. The confidence is the most noticeable. I can tell they only ever remember feeling safe and everything that comes out of that is they're never feeling like they need to be in flight or flight, no matter what. Their nervous systems are stable. The foster families are invaluable. I know they do it out of the kindness of their hearts, so if you get a chance, please thank them extra for me.

"I know not every cat is lucky enough to get the support they need prior to adoption. I know we are so lucky there. Thank you so much again." - Kiley
