Happy Tails: Enzo

"The day I walked into the shelter, I was searching for a dog I had seen on the website. I took a wrong turn and stumbled upon Enzo. I asked to see him. I sat on the floor of the visiting room waiting. He walked in, strutted over to me, and curled up in my lap. I smiled (and cried a little) knowing I’d just found my best friend. He was the one. He still is the one. He will forever be my first baby.

"Enzo has such a big personality. He is spunky and very energetic. He’s the celebrity of the neighborhood. He LOVES his long walks, walking an average of 7 miles a day. He eats well, plays fetch, sits like a good boy, and cuddles up for snuggles at bed time. We wrestle and play tug of war every day after work. He waits patiently for me to take him outside to get the zoomies out. If he wants something, he stomps his paw and shakes his head, but he does not bark. What a polite young boy. No naps are taken alone and he ensures I stay off my phone so I can give him all the pets instead. He runs a little sideways…just one of his many quirk, but I love him all the same.
