"Whinny (formerly known as Bessy) recently turned 13. I adopted her in October 2010 after a bad breakup. She is the absolute best friend a girl could ever have. She has been by my side through many moves, a new relationship, my wedding, the addition of more fur friends, when I brought my baby home, and has been by my side many sleepless nights while raising my little one. I look forward to many more years with her and hopefully another move to our dream farm/homestead someday. I am so grateful the DRHS allowed me to adopt my sweet girl.
