Happy Tails: Walter

"Firstly, I want to once again express my immense gratitude for all that you do for the animals you care for. It is so evident the dedication and love the Dubuque Humane Society has for all animals, especially those that need them most. But specifically, I can't find the words to properly express how thankful I am for all that your team and did to save Walter. He is a living, breathing miracle. 

"Thank you for fighting for him and giving him the love and care that helped him continue to nurture what a survivor he is. I promise you he will know love and joy all of his days. It's my honor to love him, care for him, and give him the life he deserves.

"To watch him get to experience a life of love, treats, and his playful spirit has been the greatest gift I could imagine. He loves to play and snuggle. He's also really enjoying the word "treat". He's learning the outside world and loves to watch every car that passes by - so going on walks can be double the fun for him. He gets excited seeing people out and about and wishes everyone could stop to pet him. I am in awe and so proud of his brave and loving heart despite all he endured." - Audra M.
