Happy Tails: Rayne

"It’s been about 6 months since we adopted Rayne, previously known as Jags! We had had discussion on getting a dog and with previously getting my family dog from the DRHS, I knew I wanted to get another rescue.🤍 We went to look around at another dog, initially. We were about to leave and after talking with a DRHS staff member, she said they just got this cute little girl released to be ready for adoption and brought her in. I fell in love immediately and said we’re taking her home, I can’t leave without her. She is sassy, loves car rides, playing in the snow, meeting new people, playing with other pups, is full of spunk, and has a big cheesy smile!

"We did a DNA test since she was just a little fuzz ball and nobody knew what she could be. She is 13 different breeds: 27% Great Pyrenees, 21% German shepherd, 19% Husky, 10% Anatolian shepherd, 5% American pitbull, 3% American staffordshire, 3% beagle, 2% Australian cattle dog, 2% Komondor, 2% chow chow, 2% tree walking coonhound, 2% poodle, 2% chihuahua. We were also able to learn she has a short leg syndrome, which we find absolutely adorable. We could not love our sweet Rayne more and can’t thank the DRHS enough for finding our perfect little lovey girl🤍🐾" - Lexi
