"This is Eevie. We adopted Eevie 4 years ago this month and she has been the best addition to our family! I was scrolling through humane society websites one day (just to look) and I came across Eevie, she reminded me so much of the dog we had at home already (Nora) and I knew she belonged with us. I packed up my car (and made my mom come with me) and we made the hour drive to Dubuque to meet sweet Eevie. When we arrived, we heard that Eevie didn’t have the best home before coming to the shelter and that she may be timid and shy. After about a half hour, Eevie sat in my lap and she didn’t want me to leave. That was it for me, she was coming to her forever home! Here we are, 4 years later, and she has the best big sister to look up to and is definitely the diva of the house. We couldn’t picture life without our Eevie!" - Courtney S.
