The Dubuque Regional Humane Society's Vets Need Pets program is in partnership with our local Veteran's Freedom Center. This program offers veterans $50 off a cat or dog adoption upon showing their military ID.

 

Pets provide numerous benefits to veterans including companionship, medical assistance, providing a sense of purpose and unconditional love. It is the hope of our shelter that the Vets Need Pets program encourages local veterans to stop by the DRHS and see if one of our companion animals is the right fit for them!
