Pet of the Week

Fetcher

Oreo just wants to hang out with you. He loves to be petted and to be the center of attention. If you want to hear a good story, just sit down and listen, because Oreo has plenty to tell you! He also gets along really well with his roommates.

Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) is a virus that is transmissible between cats primarily when fighting. Normal social contact, such as grooming or sharing food bowls, is unlikely to spread infection. For this reason, we recommend that a FIV positive cat be kept strictly indoors and not be housed with other cats that are prone to fighting. I can live a perfectly normal life, although I may be less able to fight off infections that wouldn't cause a problem for a healthy cat. Please let the staff know if you want more information about the disease or if you would like to meet me!
