Gus & Lexi Become Fast Friends

In November of 2014 I went home with my new family. They even gave me a new name – Gus! Life with my new family was great. We went for walks every day and they even let me on the couch! One day my parents came home and introduced me to a new member of our family – a five-month-old Pitbull, Lexi. I was a little scared at first, but soon after we became the best of friends. We share toys, beds and even our food. Thank you to the Dubuque Regional Humane Society for giving me the best family and best puppy friend.

They told me it took them over a year to find the perfect addition to their family, but when they saw me they knew I was the one they had been waiting for. Thank you, Dubuque Regional Humane Society, for caring for me while I waited for my family. -Cooper

Butch Takes Wisconsin By Storm

butch a dog that was adopted at at The Dubuque Regional Humane SocietyI am so thankful for my forever family! They picked me up from the Dubuque Regional Humane Society and took me to their home in Wisconsin. I am loving life in Wisconsin because there are so many new people to meet and dogs to play with. I even have some special neighbors who give me extra love, treats and attention, but nothing makes me happier than falling asleep on my owner’s lap. Thank you, Dubuque Regional Humane Society, for giving me a second chance! - Butch
