Grand Pet Excursion | Pets on the Road and Other Events
The Grand Pet Excursion is coming Sunday, May 18, 2008, and you won’t want to miss the fun as we go to the dogs! This is our largest fundraiser and all proceeds go to benefit the lost, abandoned and unwanted animals at our shelter. Our 15th annual pledged dog walk, will be held BACK AT MURPHY PARK. Walk anytime from 8 AM to Noon. This fun event will feature lots of games, booths and contests and a TAILGATING party (10 AM to Noon). Booths include a doggy spa, a dog treat boutique, and much more!

IMPORTANT “DE–TAILS”
- Participants must provide verification of a current rabies vaccination for their dog(s).
- All dogs must be licensed in their appropriate jurisdiction.
- All participants must be 16 years of age or accompanied by a parent or guardian.
- All dogs must be kept on a leash.
- Participants are responsible for cleaning up wastes from their dogs. Pet clean-up bags and disposal sites along the route will be provided.
- Dubuque Regional Humane Society representatives retain the right to refuse admittance to any animal they feel is potentially harmful to others.
Please Note:

In consideration of your permitting me to participate in "Grand Pet Excursion", I hereby waive and release any and all rights and claims for damage which I may have against the Dubuque Regional Humane Society and any of its employees and agents, the sponsors, the municipalities through which the walk will take place, as well as any other person or entity connected with the walk; and for any and all injuries I may suffer while taking part in the walk or as a result thereof.
IMPORTANT: I Certify that I am at least 16 years of age, and that if I am under the age of 18 I have permission of a parent or guardian. Persons under 16 years of age should be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
