Join us Saturday, May 15th, 2010 at 9:00 am in Dubuque’s Murphy Park for our 17th annual Grand Pet Excursion. Now on a Saturday, this popular event features a pledged dog walk, vendor booths, food, games, demonstrations and activities for people and their pets - with prizes and fun for pet lovers of all ages. Participants can raise individual pledges or form a team. We also invite corporate teams to show their team spirit and join in the festivities. IMPORTANT “DE–TAILS”

• Participants must provide verification of a current rabies vaccination for their dog(s).
• All dogs must be licensed in their appropriate jurisdiction.
• All participants must be 16 years of age or accompanied by a parent or guardian.
• All dogs must be kept on a leash.
• Participants are responsible for cleaning up wastes from their dogs. Pet clean-up bags and disposal sites along the route will be provided.
• Dubuque Regional Humane Society representatives retain the right to refuse admittance to any animal they feel is potentially harmful to others.

 

Please Note:

Individuals and teams may submit their donations in advance or bring them the day of the walk.  Please make checks payable to the Dubuque Regional Humane Society.  Questions may be answered by contacting the Dubuque Regional Humane Society at (563) 582-6766 or email at info@dbqhumane.org.

In consideration of your permitting me to participate in "Grand Pet Excursion", I hereby waive and release any and all rights and claims for damage which I may have against the Dubuque Regional Humane Society and any of its employees and agents, the sponsors, the municipalities through which the walk will take place, as well as any other person or entity connected with the walk; and for any and all injuries I may suffer while taking part in the walk or as a result thereof.

IMPORTANT: I Certify that I am at least 16 years of age, and that if I am under the age of 18 I have permission of a parent or guardian. Persons under 16 years of age should be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
