Reading with Rover

Join us at the Carnegie Stout Public Library from 10:30-11:15 a.m. the second Saturday each month for Reading with Rover! This free story-time program is for children in grades K-3.

Basic Agility

We have 11 pieces of basic agility equipment and you're welcome to use them every Tuesday from 5:30 to 6:30 PM. Cost is only $5.00 per session. For more information, call the shelter at 563-582-6766, or send an email to info@dbqhumane.org

*Dog must be up to date on vaccinations and have a history of no dog bites.

Volunteer Orientations

FIRST SATURDAYS from 9:30 to 10:30 AM

THIRD THURSDAYS from 5:30 to 6:30 PM

All volunteers must be at least 12. Volunteers under 16 must be accompanied by an adult (18 years old) at all times. This adult must also attend the orientation.
