Humane Education

The Dubuque Regional Humane Society (DRHS) has three Humane Education programs that we can present at your location or at the shelter at no charge. The programs can be tailored to any age group and include:

Bite Safety teaches youth how to safely approach a dog, react when a strange dog approaches and scenarios when it is safe or unsafe to approach even a dog you are fimilar with.

Animal Care & Responsibility

Animal Care & Responsibility informs youth on the importance of food, water and shelter for animals. This presentation will also touch on why it is so important to spay or neuter your cat or dog.
