When your dog jumps up, quickly push your hand up to, but not touching his face. Dogs dislike hands coming at them and will quickly learn to back off. You also could try taking a quick step back when your dog jumps up. He may rethink his style of greeting. Also, raising your knee so it's at the level of his chest when he jumps up, hopefully he'll soon learn a calmer way of saying hello!
