We have had an exciting new arrival in the Critter Room – sugar gliders! Moe and Clyde have been enjoying their Tuesday sleeping the day away and munching on grapes.

Did you know? Sugar gliders are native to Australia, Indonesia, Papua-New Guinea, and Tasmania. They got their name because of their sweet tooth and their ability to glide in the air (much like a flying squirrel). Sugar gliders do best in pairs and their diet requires protein (such as mealworms or crickets) as well as fruits and veggies.  Interested in adopting? Stop by the critter room and meet these little cuties!
